2024 SIA National Assembly Youth Conference

A Global Youth Leadership Program Empowering Students to Create Real Impact.

STUDENTS IN ACTION,
LIVING FOR TOMORROW

Students in Action (SIA) is a global youth leadership initiative where student teams present real projects, bold solutions, and meaningful actions that address today’s challenges.
SIA brings together young leaders from different countries to collaborate, explore cultures, and create impact through innovation, teamwork, and purpose.

History of SIA

1. Beginnings
Students in Action (SIA) began as a platform for youth from different countries to collaborate, share ideas, and create real solutions for global challenges. From the start, SIA has centered on student leadership and meaningful action.
2. First Event
The inaugural SIA gathered students for SDG-focused workshops and project presentations. Its success proved the power of youth partnerships and set the foundation for future events.
3. Becoming International
SIA soon expanded, welcoming teams from Korea, Mongolia, Nepal, and more. With a strong focus on SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, SIA built a global network of young changemakers.
4. Annual Growth
Now an annual event, SIA continues to grow as more schools and countries join with innovative ideas, cultural exchange, and community-driven impact projects.
5. 2025: Year Five
This year marks SIA’s 5th anniversary, centered on the theme
“Empowering Global Change.”
Students collaborate across borders to design solutions, lead initiatives, and take action that moves communities forward.

Students In Action, Living For Tomorrow

Our Vision & Mission

Vision: Empower youth to become creative problem-solvers who can lead positive change locally and globally.Mission: Provide a platform where students can explore ideas, develop solutions, and take action through collaboration, leadership, and cultural understanding.

Program Structure

SIA is designed to give students a full experience of global collaboration, leadership, and real-world action.
The program is built around six core components:
1. Cultural Exchange
Students experience local culture through guided activities, team challenges, and shared programs that build understanding, curiosity, and global friendship.
2. School Collaboration
Visiting teams join classes, meet local students, and participate in collaborative activities hosted by partner schools.
This helps participants connect, exchange ideas, and understand education systems across countries.
3. Workshops & Leadership Sessions
Hands-on sessions that develop communication, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.
Workshops are led by teachers, mentors or student leaders, focusing on developing practical skills for real-world impact.
4. SIA World Competition
The central event where student teams present their projects, innovations, and community impact to a panel of judges.
Teams are evaluated on clarity, creativity, feasibility, collaboration, and contribution to the world.
5. National Assembly Presentation (Korea)
Selected teams deliver their presentations at the National Assembly of Korea, sharing youth perspectives on global issues, leadership, and sustainable development.
This highlights the importance of youth voices in shaping future solutions.
6. Reflection & Networking
Students end the program with reflection activities, peer learning, and networking opportunities to strengthen long-term collaboration and global friendships.
